‘You’re a Dummy!’ Trump Flips Out on CNN, ABC Reporters Grilling Him Over Russia Sanctions Relief

President Donald Trump went ballistic on reporters from CNN and ABC News for having the audacity to ask him about lifting sanctions on Russia, with Trump saying they were “stupid” and “low IQ” to even go there.

The testy exchanges happened while Trump spoke to reporters in front of the White House on Wednesday afternoon. It came hours after Trump secured the release of Stephen Hubbard, a 74-year-old Michigan man who was locked away in Russia for four years on allegations he’d acted as a mercenary for Ukraine.

Trump was asked about Hubbard’s release by CNN’s Kaitlan Collins. Trump told her Hubbard was “beautifully flying” back home, but that never would have happened if he kept the clamps on Vladimir Putin.

“If you would’ve put them those sanctions on, or whatever you want to call ’em, you could forget about him. He’d be back in jail for 25 years,” Trump said.

When Collins followed up a moment later, Trump ripped her.

“You don’t know what you’re talking about. You’re a dummy. You’re a low IQ person, you’re a dummy, and you work for CNN,” he shot back.

He’d told her a moment earlier he lifted the sanctions because they are “maybe close to a deal for the first time in a long time” to end the Russia-Ukraine war.

“When you’re close to a deal and you have very delicate negotiations, you don’t put sanctions on,” Trump said.

The president prowled around while he answered questions for another minute, before the topic was brought up again by an ABC News reporter. He didn’t love it.

“How is waving those sanctions on Russia to secure the release of Hubbard not giving something to Russia?” the female reporter asked.

“Are you a stupid person?” Trump asked as he glared and pointed at her. “Who do you work for?”

“ABC News,” she responded.

“You’re a stupid person. And by the way, your network is the worst of all,” Trump said.
