Trump Praises ‘Great Republican Strategist’ Laura Loomer: ‘A Killer’

President Donald Trump heaped praise on conspiracy theorist Laura Loomer, calling her a “great Republican strategist” and “a killer.”

Trump’s kind words to his unofficial adviser came during an unusual campaign stop Friday night in Mobile, Alabama — his third rally in two days in states he won handily in 2024 after appearances in Texas and Oklahoma — underscoring the GOP’s concerns heading into the midterms.

The president was working his way through a list of people he wanted to thank when he got to Loomer, who was in the audience.

“A great Republican strategist, a great person, a killer when she’s angry at you,” Trump said. “It’s a very terrible situation. Laura Loomer. Thank you, Laura. She’s great.”

Now, this anger that the president is referring to might have something to do with an Islamophobic tweet that Loomer fired off just last week after Trump met with New York City Zohran Mamdani at Gracie Mansion. During the pair’s press conference, the commander in chief said Mamdani has the “potential” to be a “great mayor.”

Her full message read:

I’m pissed off.

We work so hard to combat the radical left and the anti-American Islamic jihadists who work to destroy our country everyday.

And for what?

So they can be rewarded?

There is never going to be any accountability. I realized that today.

Despite that apparent spat, Trump seemed to be back in the good graces of the conspiracy theorist on Friday, with Loomer even traveling alongside the president aboard Air Force One to Alabama.

As MS NOW’s Jake Traylor noted on social media, “Loomer’s previous meetings with Trump have been consequential. Last year Trump fired six national security staffers following a meeting with Loomer in the Oval Office where she presented opposition research against the individuals.”
