A Disturbance In the Farce: MAGA Players in the MAGA Fringe Are Feuding, and Who Can Make Sense of It?!

Sometimes you just need to step away and maybe tug on the Scotch Guard jacket and protective eyewear as the carnage unfolds. Anytime Laura Loomer is involved in a conflict, the oddness is assured. When she ropes in other untethered figures, things unspool from there.

So this all begins with the announcement that ICE had made the call to detain one-time right-wing influencer Milo Yiannopoulos at the airport in New Orleans. While some wondered where he had even been for years, most others were busy using his detention photo for memes all weekend.

It was then that Laura Loomer sprang on the scene. She came out with an end zone football spike, claiming she was the reason that Milo popped up on the ICE radar and found himself shipped out to Mediocre Britain. This was allegedly over his support for Hamas and also in calling for her assassination.

Considering she contacted the agency last year, as well as back in 2024, it is hard to see that they sprang into action at her urging. But let’s allow her the room for a goal celebration.

She did not stop there, however. As part of her cork-popping claims, she also called for ICE to go after Marjorie Taylor Greene. She alleges that MTG had hired and harbored Milo, having him write her speeches and ghostwrite her book, The Case for Christian Nationalism. (OK, that might almost make some sense, once we consider how Greene’s public commentary has never exactly been of the elevated variety.)

Still, this is Loomer, who is known for going off on wild tangents and accusations. She’s akin to an unhinged Real Housewife who is flipping tables and hurling dinnerware, then bragging about the food sticking to the wall. Who really pays attention?

Well, apparently Marjory’s daughter, Lauren Greene. She jumped into the comments with an appeal to ICE to dispute the claims. You have to appreciate the concept that our federal agencies operate primarily on social media when it comes to conducting enforcement operations.

Then MTG herself chimed in, scorching Loomer and saying the photo evidence she gave of Milo’s residency was not at all accurate. She also counter-charged that Milo had written a book for Loomer and also alleged he worked on one of Loomer’s doomed bids for office.

By now, this bat-crap badminton match has reached that level that attuned neighbors get when they just try to tune out the occupants next door who are having one of their regular domestic upheavals.

MTG kept it going, next chirping Laura Loomer about recent racist comments she made towards the recent Democratic nominee for the Senate, Angie Nixon. By now the mentally turbulent Tilt-A-Whirl was getting crowded.

Then, almost in a bid to completely discredit any bid for sanity, Loomer decided to quintuple-down on describing Nixon as “ghetto.”  From there she proceeded to get into a digital beef with none other than Hasan Piker over her Nixon comments.

By that stage things reached the level of that domestic uproar that compels you to begin searching through your drawers. Anyone living near this would be looking for your lease, hoping it would not be costly to move away from that insanity.
