Trump’s Jaw-Dropping Labor Day Weekend Posting Blitz Sends Social Media Into a Spin: ’25th Amendment NOW!’

President Donald Trump flooded Truth Social with dozens of bizarre AI-generated images over Labor Day weekend, triggering a wave of ridicule and alarm from political opponents and commentators, including one prominent critic demanding “25th Amendment NOW!”
Trump unleashed over 37 posts over several hours on Sunday, many featuring AI depictions of the president alongside historical figures, in outer space, or inhabiting the bodies of pop culture characters.
Several posts centered on George Washington. One showed Trump on horseback towering over the first president, while another placed Washington alongside Trump in the Oval Office under the caption, “President Washington visits President Trump.”
Elsewhere, Trump superimposed his face onto the body of late wrestling star Hulk Hogan, portrayed himself commanding a futuristic robot army and piloting a spaceship, and shared images laying claim to the moon. Another imagined New Mexico re-christened as “New America” and a further post called his Mar-a-Lago resort the “southern White House.”
The president also posted an apparently AI-generated design board for a Space Force uniform that drew comparisons online to the Galactic Empire from “Star Wars,” as well as references to Spaceballs and Starship Troopers.
The remarkable burst of activity quickly attracted attention from Trump’s critics.
Independent journalist Aaron Rupar shared a lengthy screen recording scrolling through the president’s posts, while progressive commentator Harry Sisson compiled a timestamped rundown of the spree before declaring: “25th Amendment NOW!”
Democratic lawmakers and officials also seized on the posts, including California Governor Gavin Newsom and representatives of New Mexico, who had some thoughts about his meme renaming the state:

The posting spree comes as Trump faces political pressure ahead of the midterm elections, including polls that show voter dissatisfaction over the economy, cost of living, and his administration’s handling of Iran.
