‘Please Sue Me!’ Hunter Biden Fires Back at Rudy Giuliani for Threatening Defamation Lawsuit

Hunter Biden practically begged Rudy Giuliani to follow through on his threat to sue him for defamation, warning the former New York City mayor and Trump ally that the discovery process would be “absolutely brutal.”

The former president’s son responded to Giuliani during an appearance on the Lev Remembers podcast Monday, hosted by Lev Parnas, the past Giuliani associate who played a central role in the Ukraine scandal that led to President Donald Trump’s first impeachment.

At the opening of the show, Parnas raised Giuliani’s recent declaration that he was prepared to sue both Biden and Tucker Carlson over their lengthy podcast interview last month.

“Rudy Giuliani is out there now pounding his chest thinking about suing you, Tucker Carlson and this interview you did,” Parnas said, before asking Biden what he made of the threat.

“Well, it’s hard to even know what it was all about because I never even – no one even mentioned Rudy’s name when… I don’t think I mentioned Rudy’s name on one podcast, let alone Tucker Carlson,” Biden replied.

“But I think he takes issue with the truth and that’s what Rudy’s problem is,” he quipped.

Biden revealed his reaction the moment he learned that Giuliani had publicly floated legal action against him and Carlson: “I said please, please, God, please sue me, because the discovery process would be absolutely brutal for him.”

“And we all know this. I mean, that they can’t stand up to any scrutiny, but particularly Rudy,” he added.

Giuliani announced last month that he was “seriously considering” suing the pair after taking issue with their discussion of the infamous Hunter Biden laptop and allegations surrounding how its contents became public before the 2020 election.

“He personally defamed me, Hunter Biden did. And so did Tucker,” Giuliani said during a Newsmax appearance on August 24, declaring on-air: “I’m gonna sue him!”

Pressed on whether he actually intended to file the lawsuit, Giuliani answered: “Absolutely.”

Carlson and Biden had discussed claims about Israel’s alleged involvement in promoting material from the laptop, with Carlson claiming people with ties to the Israeli government approached him while he worked at Fox News.
