CNN Pundit Likens Laura Loomer to Horror Movie Villain as He Doubles Down on Trump ‘Attack Dog’ Remarks

CNN pundit Isaiah Martin had a scathing comeback ready as he ripped MAGA activist Laura Loomer on Tuesday after she called him out over comments he made on the network a day earlier.

It all started when Loomer posted a clip of Martin from Monday’s CNN Newsnight, where he called Loomer the GOP’s “de facto attack dog” and urged President Donald Trump to cut ties with her.

“Democrat @isaiahrmartin called me the Republican Party’s ‘de facto attack dog’ on @CNN_NewsNight and demanded that President Trump @realDonaldTrump disown me,” she said.

Martin did not dispute her words as he replied to the post. In fact, he doubled down in a scathing post of his own, complete with a not-so-veiled reference to the Saw horror film franchise baddie.

“Yes, Jigsaw, you are their de facto attack dog,” he wrote. “I said what I said. You have no place in civilized society. Further, you and your senile President’s obsession with a twitch streamer is nothing more than a distraction from the economy YOU ALL BROKE!”

The new jabs came after Martin appeared on CNN Newsnight earlier this week, when he argued that Trump should “absolutely” sever ties with Loomer, citing her relationship with the president and his political operation.

“Republicans spent weeks talking about Hasan Piker while you have a de facto attack dog for the Republican Party, attacking everybody that she can,” Martin said.

He later added: “Your president refuses to condemn [Loomer]. And that is the overarching point is that I do not want to hear a single thing about Hasan Piker until your president goes forward and condemns [her].”

Loomer has come under scrutiny over her apparent influence over the president in recent years, with the streamer taking credit for the May 2025 removal of Mike Waltz as national security adviser.

That same month, she implored Trump to pull the nomination of Janette Nesheiwat as surgeon general, which he later did.

Last week, Loomer celebrated the ICE arrest and deportation of Milo Yann0poulos, reminding her social media followers she was the first to report on the fact that he was in the U.S. illegally.

“When Milo called for me to be assassinated, I reported him to ICE and the FBI,” she said.
