Tucker Carlson Fires Back at Randy Fine Over Nick Fuentes Attack: His Gaza Posts Are ‘Much Worse’
Tucker Carlson slammed MAGA Rep. Randy Fine’s (R-FL) Gaza posts on X as “much worse” than “anything Nick Fuentes has said” after the House Republican condemned him as the “the most dangerous anti-Semite in America” for hosting the white nationalist on his podcast.
Carlson’s remarks came during a sit-down with former Fox News colleague Megyn Kelly for the latest episode of her SiriusXM show, when she challenged him for hosting Fuentes and the criticism he’d received for it.
Fine had been one of several GOP critics, scorching Carlson in front of members of the American Jewish Coalition on Saturday.
“He has chosen to take on the mantle of leader of a modern-day Hitler youth, to broadcast and feature those who celebrate the Nazis, those who call for the extermination of Israel, to defend Hamas, to even criticize President Trump for stopping Iran’s nuclear ambitions,” Fine said.
“Friends, make no mistake. Tucker is not MAGA,” he added.
In Thursday’s interview with Kelly, however, Carlson denied the charge, saying he was not a “Nazi” but was a “Christian” before he hit back at Fine directly, pointing to his tweets about Gaza.
I spoke to the Speaker of the House about this today, we have a sitting member of Congress from Florida called Randy Fine who has literally texted or put on Twitter, ‘We should kill them all. Every single one.’ Someone texted a picture of – literally – a dead baby and he laughs at it. And it’s like this guy’s a lawmaker who’s appropriating money to a military committing genocide and that’s cool? It’s not cool.
And let’s just be honest, that is much worse than anything Nick Fuentes has said. Period.
As some of the audience applauded, Kelly added that Fuentes “has said a long list of very vile things.”
“Big time, including attacking my dad,” Carlson agreed.
Kelly then pressed Carlson further on critics arguing he did not quiz Fuentes on videos in which he questions the Holocaust. He replied, addressing critics and denying that interviewing a white nationalist meant sharing his views:
You know, do your own interview the way that you want to do it. You’re not my editor. Buzz off. I mean, I don’t know, you want to go yell at Nick Fuentes? I’ll give you his cell. Call him and go sit and yell at him and feel virtuous or whatever. That’s up to you.
Fine talked a lot about Gaza during Israel’s long campaign against Hamas. In an appearance on Fox & Friends, he called for Gaza to be “nuked” and in tweets throughout the conflict, celebrated reports of starvation and even called for Israel to blow up Palestinian schools:
The “dead baby” tweet referred to by Carlson was posted by Fine in June 2021, before Hamas’ October 7th attacks in 2023:
Fine’s comments were widely condemned and drew rebuke from Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), who argued his “awful” remarks would “actually cause more antisemitism.”
