Three-Time Trump Voter Slams President’s Election Speech on MS NOW: ‘Get Off That Topic’

MS NOW’s Alex Tabet spoke with a three-time MAGA voter in Iowa who was left wholly unimpressed with President Donald Trump’s address to the nation this week.

Tabet spoke to voters in Ida Grove, Iowa following Trump’s Thursday night address about elections. The president warned about election vulnerabilities, spread allegations of fraud about the 2020 election, and urged Congress to pass the SAVE America Act, which would require proof of citizenship to register to vote, mandate photo identification, and implement new restrictions on mail-in voting.

MS NOW’s Katy Tur aired some of Tabet’s footage on Friday’s The Moment.

“There is also the question of whether voters that do like Donald Trump are getting tired of this shtick, and tired of an administration that seems wholly devoted to propping him up and making him feel better about his own authority, his own power, and his own ability to win,” she said before cutting to Tabet.

“What do you make of the fact that the president is continuing to look backwards? In 2026, he gave a speech about the 2020 election last night,” Tabet told Mark Bogue.

“I would like to see him move forward and get off that topic, yes sir. I’d like to get back to what we’re really trying to accomplish, you know, and that’s — even today, I want to hear where we’re going. You know, I’m not all for that conversation at all,” Bogue said.

“What do you want him focusing on instead?” Tabet asked.

“Well, let’s get Iran figured out. And, you know, get Iran figured out, get the economy, get gas prices back down, which I think they will be if we can get that figured out. So I think right now that’s the biggest topic is Iran. You know, where are we going with this thing?” Bogue said.
