Shocking New Video Shows Amazon Cargo Plane Overrunning Runway in Deadly Crash

Shocking new video shows the moment a cargo plane overran the runway in Miami, Florida, in a fiery crash that killed five people and injured five others on Sunday.

CNN called the video “disturbing” before airing the clip of the plane crashing into cars and bursting into flames, leaving horrified onlookers shocked.

Still more new video showed “the moments just before impact as the plane was going nearly 130 miles an hour when it left the runway,” CNN’s Pamela Brown said before playing audio of the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue response.

RESCUE CREW 1: Guys, the plane’s on fire! Plane is on fire! Put your game faces on. This aircraft overrun [sic] the runway. It crossed 67th Avenue. It struck a truck. We do have a patient on the ground. We’re looking at surveying the area for more patients.

RESCUE CREW 2: Be advised, we have three patients, appear to be two blacks. Two blacks. We have two blacks and one red. Make this an MCI. We’re out of water. We have to back up.

“Red or black” are codes used by first responders, with “red” meaning a patient has life-threatening injuries, while “black” means the patient is deceased. “MCI” refers to Mass Casualty Incident.

CNN’s Pete Muntean said the National Transportation Safety Board was at the scene on Monday.

“They really have their work cut out for them here as they try to piece this together, this attempted landing that clearly went wrong,” Muntean said.

He continued:

The plane kept going off of the end of the runway, through four lanes of traffic here, then ultimately coming to rest behind this Amazon warehouse and logistics center in the parking lot here. The plane still visible there with its tail in the air. And the latest from fire officials here in Miami is that this is still an active scene. We will hear later this afternoon from NTSB board chair ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​Jennifer Homendy. She will brief the media sometime later today, the NTSB tells us, as the preliminary data keeps coming in and the NTSB, of course, will want to look at some of these videos that have been posted online. One of them very, very telling. It shows this Boeing 767 still somewhat airborne as it passed way down the runway.
