Melania Trump Admits Husband Sometimes ‘Doesn’t Want to Hear’ Real Feedback On His UN Speech: ‘I Tell Him the Truth’

First Lady Melania Trump admitted her husband, President Donald Trump, doesn’t always “want to hear” her honest reviews of his work, but she hits him with “the truth” anyway.

Melania Trump joined Fox & Friends on Wednesday morning where she dropped an honest review of her husband’s United Nations address this week.

Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade noted the president will sometimes ask his wife how he did during certain speeches, something shown in the Amazon Prime documentary Melania, and he asked her to review Trump’s United Nations address.

“I told him he had great delivery, he did very well, and a great speech. So I tell him the truth. Sometimes he doesn’t want to hear it, what I tell him, but that’s okay. I always say the truth,” she said.

The first lady teased that her documentary is being followed up with a docuseries that will get more personal, and likely be dropping sometime in November.

“It will come out this year, and it will be very different than what is in the movie. It’s more conversations one on one with me. So when I was traveling and doing all of the filming, the director was asking me questions, and there’s some private questions that I will answer that people never heard before. So it’s kind of exciting. It’s a two-part series, it’s coming out any day, November, maybe November. We don’t have exact date yet,” the first lady said.

She also rang the Opening Bell at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) on Wednesday before delivering an address focused on IMPERIA, a new initiative that will bring together female CEOs and business leaders.

The first lady notably took a different tact from her husband recently when it comes to CNN.

While the president has booted CNN, MS NOW, and Politico from the White House grounds, slamming all of them as “fake news,” the first lady granted CNN access to cover her “Fostering the Future Together” event at the UN.

Asked to review her husband’s second term in the White House compared to his first, Melania Trump praised her his work ethic while admitting he has “a lot on his plate.”

“He’s very focused. He has a lot on his plate. It’s very different, what’s going on around the world now. But I think he’s doing the best that he can. He works nonstop. He has the most energy than anybody. He’s, from morning until evening, nonstop working,” she said.
