Jimmy Kimmel Mocks Trump’s Nobel Prize Snub Meltdown: ‘Petty Little B*tch’
Jimmy Kimmel mocked President Donald Trump for blaming Norway after he was passed over for the Nobel Peace Prize, telling the country “you made our baby cry” before blasting the president as a “petty little b*tch.”
The late-night host opened Monday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! by revisiting Trump’s angry reaction to Friday’s announcement that former U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay had won the 2026 prize.
“The president took the perceived snub well, I have to say,” Kimmel joked. “He only posted a 600-word tirade lashing out.”
“What better way to deserve a Nobel Prize than attacking the woman who won it at midnight in a social media post that is twice as long as the Gettysburg address,” he jabbed.
Kimmel continued, flashing the president’s lengthy Truth Social screed on-screen: “In this one post, Trump mentioned he ended eight wars seven different times and then woke up on Saturday morning and did it again! This time misspelling the word Nobel. ‘I did not get the ‘Noble’ Peace Prize. Wow!’ Do you think Natalie [Harp] misspells the word Nobel on purpose or no one knows the word Nobel has a ‘B’ in it?”
“You know, I’m not sure which is more alarming: the fact that Trump is upset he didn’t win the Nobel Prize or that he’s surprised he didn’t win one,” he added.
Kimmel then ran back a clip of Trump at a campaign rally in Syracuse, New York, later in the day when he declared: “The United States of America, represented by me as your president, should have received the Nobel Peace Prize, but didn’t. And this is an indelible stain on the country of Norway and those people that made such a disgraceful and embarrassing decision.”
Kimmel’s audience booed as the clip played.
“I know. I was upset they didn’t give it to him, too,” Kimmel laughed.
He then zeroed in on Trump’s decision to blame Norway for the award, which is selected by the independent Norwegian Nobel Committee, not affiliated with the Norwegian government.
“He is blaming Norway for this slight – thanks a lot Norway,” Kimmel said. “I hope you’re happy you made our baby cry.”
Kimmel rolled back a further clip of Trump airing his grievance at the Syracuse rally: “We should have had eight Nobel prizes for each war.”
Kimmel paused.
“Wait, hold on. Let me add that up,” he joked. “Eight prizes for each war. He means he should have 64 Nobel prizes! Minus 8 for the war we started, that’s an even 56. That seems reasonable. Is that too much to ask? Shame on you, Norway!”
“Imagine being the single most powerful person in the world and still being such a petty little b*tch at all times!” the host sniped. “And the truth is if any American politician deserved the peace prize, it is, has to be this guy –”
The comedian flashed video of a frail looking Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY) on-screen, “I mean, look at him. He loves peace. Peace is all he talks about.”
