‘I Need Help’: Darline Graham Carries on Late Brother’s Ritual of Begging Fox Viewers for Money

Sen. Darline Graham (R-SC) carried on the family torch Wednesday, pleading with Fox News viewers to donate to her campaign.

Graham is the sister of former Lindsey Graham (R-SC), who died in July. South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster (R) appointed her to finish the remainder of her brother’s term, which ends in January. However, she is running for a full term of her own with the support of President Donald Trump. Graham will face Dr. Annie Andrews, a pediatrician, in November’s midterms. This week, Cook Political Report changed its classification of the race from “solid” Republican to “likely” Republican.

In a three-and-a-half-minute interview on Wednesday night, Sean Hannity only asked Graham leading questions – six or seven – much like an attorney might ask a witness on direct examination.

“This is a picture of [Andrews] holding up a sign, ‘Protect trans kids,'” Hannity noted. “Is that your opponent? Is that the pediatrician opponent of yours in South Carolina?”

The host instructed his producer to keep the photo of Andrews with a sign supporting transgender children up for the entire segment.

Here is the final exchange between Graham and Hannity, in which the candidate asks for money:

HANNITY: And did she post a video of Kamala Harris saying the problem with [sic] white women? Was that also her?

GRAHAM: That was also her. That was a crazy video criticizing white women for not supporting Kamala Harris, yes. I believe so.

HANNITY: And she’s running in South Carolina, the home of Henry Mcmaster and your brother, and the home of Tim Scott.

GRAHAM: She is.

HANNITY: She’s running with those values?

GRAHAM: Yes, she is. And unfortunately, the Democrats are pouring money into the state to help support her. So, I’m getting a little concerned about that.

HANNITY: Money to say, “It’s not true.” Meanwhile, all the evidence is to the contrary.

GRAHAM: So, I need help. darlenegraham.com, $5, $10, $20. Lindsey would be proud of me.

HANNITY: I don’t doubt that and we miss your brother every day. We really do. But you’re doing a great job. I know he’s proud of you.

Lindsey Graham was a frequent Fox News guest over the years and made a habit of asking viewers to donate to his campaign.
