Fox News Host Tells AOC, ‘Girl, No Conservative Would Want To Date You’

Fox News host Julie Banderas insisted that “no conservative” would ever want to date Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and that only a “brave soul” would want to father her children.

Banderas, who is a co-host for Fox Noticias, appeared on Tuesday’s Jesse Watters Primetime, where she discussed a response Ocasio-Cortez gave to a personal question. TMZ reporter Charlie Cotton caught up with the lawmaker outside the Capitol and asked, “Would you ever date a conservative?”

Ocasio-Cortez laughed.

“Is that anything you would ever entertain?” he inquired.

“I have to say it’s uh, probably not,” Ocasio-Cortez replied. “No foul to people who do. And of course, how you define that is very different from person to person, right? But I think a lot of politics sometimes, at least for me, is about values, and being aligned in values I think is tremendously important.”

Later on Fox News, Jesse Watters noted that Ocasio-Cortez recently broke up with her fiancé.

“AOC’s back on the market,” Watters said before teeing up a clip of AOC’s comments. “I don’t know if you’ve heard, but she dumped her fiancé. But she’s got standards for her next prince charming.”

After the clip played, Banderas chimed in.

“Girl, no conservative would want to date you,” she said. “You are not untapping a mystery here. I mean, first of all, she broke up, she froze her eggs, she’s eventually going to put them in and maybe some brave soul will stand up and be the father of those poor little children. But like, why would a conservative ever want to marry her?”

“Well, we didn’t say ‘marry,'” Watters noted. “Just date.”

“Well, I know, but at her age, she’s gonna eventually want to have a husband, I think,” Banderas replied.

“Only available to liberals,” Watters said, concluding the discussion.
