‘That’s Hysterical!’ Howie Mandel Cracks Up When Bill Maher Tells Him Wild Candace Owens Joke
Bill Maher got his fellow comic Howie Mandel to crack up pretty good when he hit him with a zinger about Candace Owens on the Monday episode of the Club Random podcast.
“By the way, conspiracy theories have gone far enough. But having said that, I would like to say, I think Candace Owens is a man and a Jew,” Maher quipped.
Mandel ate it up. He leaned forward in his chair, kicked his knee up, and started laughing as he slapped the armrest.
“That’s hysterical,” Mandel said.
“Oh, good,” Maher responded.
Not that explaining a joke is ever funny, but Maher was obviously making light of Owens being conspiracy-obsessed and Jew-obsessed over the past few years. A clear example has been her fixation on the murder of Charlie Kirk, which she has insisted was orchestrated by more people than Tyler Robinson, the suspected killer who will stand trial.
Owens has argued on different occasions the U.S. military was “involved” in the slaying and implied Kirk’s widow Erika Kirk was part of it. Other theories floated by Owens include claiming French President Emmanuel Macron authorized a hit squad.
As for the Jews, Owens has had them on her mind a lot. Some of her claims include: Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin was a stealth Jew and his followers are part of a “Jewish cabal,” Jews ran the African slave trade, and she endorsed the anti-Semitic theory Jews get “drunk on Christian blood,” among other examples.
The two guys got onto the topic after Maher joked the “Weinstein-Epstein 1-2 punch” gave anti-Semites more to get worked up about, since Jeffrey Epstein and Harvey Weinstein are both Jewish. Maher said centuries of Jew hate proves anti-Semites don’t need to hear much more than that to start spreading baseless theories. He then said hating the Jews is the “one thing” right-wing pundits like Owens and left-wing commentators like Hasan Piker seem to agree on.
Watch above.
