Texas Longhorns defensive end Colin Simmons sort of apologized Saturday after being penalized for pretending to spray the field with urine after sacking Tennessee’s quarterback.

InsideTexas reporter Tyler Horka posted post-victory video of Simmons telling the world to “move on.”

“I also do want to say I apologize for the celebration,” Simmons said with a smirk during the presser. “I was definitely in that mode, you know, feeling myself, but you know, it happens. Charge it to the game.”

A reporter asked, “Anybody say anything to you on the sidelines after the penalty? Or, what was the discussion?”

“Of course, of course, but, next play mentality, we don’t harp on that,” Simmons answered.

“Move on to the game, guys,” admonished a disembodied voice in the room, ostensibly someone with Longhorns Football.

“[Head Coach Steve] Sarkisian say anything to you about it, though?” the reporter pressed.

“Next play mentality, move on,” Simmons said firmly.

After sacking Tennessee quarterback Faizon Brandon for a 16-yard loss in the second quarter, Simmons mimed whipping out his member and spraying urine on the field, giving Tennessee an automatic first down.

Simmons’s pee celebration earned him an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty, but he was allowed to finish the game, and did so with “a historic 5-sack performance,” according to the Associated Press.

You can watch the celebration for yourself below:

Sarkasian told the press, “We took him out, we addressed it and put him back in. At that point, I’m not going to give the guy a death penalty over an unsportsmanlike conduct. We got to fix it though. That can’t continue.”

In the stands to witness Simmons’s antics were President Donald Trump and Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), who’s running for Governor. Trump posted Air Force One’s stadium flyover video to Truth Social, but didn’t comment on the game, which the Longhorns won 20-17.
