Body cam footage from the arrest of San Francisco 49ers owner Jed York was released Wednesday, capturing officers expressing disbelief over the contents of the multimillionaire’s wallet, with one cop remarking, “He’s got sh*tloads of cash.”

York was arrested Sunday at the Wheat Hill Mobile Home Community in East Palestine, Ohio, after authorities said he responded to an undercover advertisement and agreed to pay $140 for sex. He initially faced charges of engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools, but the prostitution charge was reduced to disorderly conduct as part of a plea deal Monday. York pleaded no contest to both counts, paid $1,150 in fines and received one day in jail on each charge, with one day credited as time served.

The internet was quick to jump on the 49ers owner, with independent journalist Tony Farmer writing on X, “No disrespect to mobile home residents, but I’ve never heard of a billionaire hanging out at one, never mind getting arrested at one.”

Now, with the newly released body cam footage, it seems the cops responding to the scene were thinking the same thing. Video posted by TMZ and credited to the East Palestine Police Department shows York being pulled over and handcuffed as he tells an officer he was “just driving” around the area.

At some point, however, the officers appeared to realize they had arrested someone of a high socioeconomic class. As they went through York’s wallet and found a stack of $20 bills, the two marveled at how straightforward the sting had been.

“That one was easy,” one officer said.

“Super easy,” the other replied.

“He’s got more cash in his wallet,” the first officer continued. “He’s got sh*tloads of cash.”

“He’s got all the money,” the second officer responded. “Wow. It’s crazy the people that do this. They could do whatever they want, they could do other things, they could go other ways. It’s wild.”
