Hasan Piker Defends Telling MAGA Fan ‘Suck My D*ck, Old Lady’ in Wild Interview

Social media influencer Hasan Piker defended a controversial moment in which he hurled a barrage of vulgar insults at a pro-MAGA Vietnamese refugee.

Earlier this year, Piker was harshly criticized for the comments he made on a past livestream. During the stream, Piker watched a clip of a Vietnamese woman explaining why she supported President Donald Trump. Piker, who has sparked controversy this cycle by campaigning with Democratic Party candidates, reacted to the clip by saying:

I mean, seriously, f*ck you, old lady. Shut the f*ck up, you stupid f*cking idiotic old lady, with your stupid f*cking gamer headset. Who has f*cked you harder, America or f*cking Ho Chi Minh? Suck my d*ck, old lady! Goddamn, dude! Yo, f*ck this refugee, OK? Seriously. F*ck this South Vietnamese motherf*cking, whatever– like, Christian supremacist, psychotic f*cking refugee, living in America now and able to talk that shit. Why don’t you go back and live in fucking South Vietnam in the same conditions if that’s your perspective.

In his latest interview with Ziwe that premiered Sunday, Piker was given the chance to explain some of his past comments that he felt had been taken out of context. On the incident with the refugee, he said she was a MAGA supporter and that he refused to extend any grace to someone with those beliefs.

“I feel like if you’re MAGA, if you’re right-wing, if you’re a Nazi,” Piker said, “you know, I’m going to be vulgar with you. It doesn’t matter. I don’t think you get to do identity politics at that point. You can’t utilize your background to say that you’re under attack when the policies that you’re advancing and advocating for are unbelievably harmful for not only the Asian-American population, but every Black and brown person in this country, and immigrants and refugees alike.”
