Charlamagne Predicts White People Will ‘Save Democracy’ From Trump

Charlamagne tha God argued why he believed white people will “save democracy” if President Donald Trump tries serving a third time.

On Saturday’s episode of the Brilliant Idiots podcast, Charlamagne and co-host Andrew Schulz were joined by rapper Glasses Malone. At the end of their two-hour conversation, the group answered a series of fan-submitted questions about a variety of questions; and the final question asked what country they would move to in the event of a hypothetical World War III reaching the U.S.

As the trio joked about the idea of war coming to American soil, Charlamagne struck a more serious tone when he predicted “some wild a** sh*t” would happen before the midterms. He then added that Trump would use the event to delay the midterms and keep Republicans in control of the government.

“I don’t know what it’s going to be, but it’s going to be something stupid in the next few weeks right before the midterms,” Charlamagne said. “And whatever it is, it’s going to be some type of act of war and he’s going to use that to try to call the midterms off in some way, shape, or form.”

The conversation then shifted to the idea of Trump potentially staying in the White House even after his second term ended. Glasses Malone explained why voters wouldn’t let that happen.

“One thing them white people love more than Trump is that Constitution,” the rapper said. “They’re not letting this motherf*cker stay a day over.”

Charlamagne agreed.

“What’d I say last week? I’m telling you, it’s the White people!” Charlamagne said. “White people are going to save democracy! I’m trying to tell you. It’s just the truth! Because they know what freedom feels like, and that document you’re talking about — the Constitution — that sh*t applies to them. It means something to them. They’re not letting nobody play with that in no way, shape, or form.”
