WATCH: OK Democrat’s TikTok Showing Her Having a Bizarre ‘Mean Girls’-Style Meltdown Goes Viral After She Wins Senate Primary

A bizarre TikTok showing Oklahoma Democratic Senate nominee N’Kiyla Jasmine Thomas screaming around a pink bedroom before adding a former Republican senator to a Mean Girls-inspired “Burn Book” has gone viral after she won her party’s primary.

Thomas, a democratic socialist and nurse, defeated attorney Jim Priest in the Democratic runoff Tuesday, setting up a general election contest against Rep. Kevin Hern (R-OK) for the seat vacated by Markwayne Mullin, who is now serving as secretary of Homeland Security.

But within a day of the 31-year-old Thomas securing the nomination, Republicans resurfaced a September 2025 video from her TikTok account that quickly drew attention and mockery from MAGA pundits and users online.

In the clip, Thomas imitates a scene from the 2004 comedy Mean Girls, running around a pink bedroom as the soundtrack of screaming ripped from the film plays in the background. She pulls a pink book out of a drawer bearing the words “Burn Book.”

She then tapes a photograph of Mullin, who was serving in the Senate at the time, into the book and writes underneath it while reading aloud: “Markwayne Mullin is a terrible senator.”

In the 2004 film, the Burn Book is a pink scrapbook used by the film’s central clique, the Plastics, to compile vicious rumors and insults about fellow students and teachers at their fictional high school.

The old TikTok rapidly spread across social media Thursday as GOP commentators seized on the footage, although notably haven’t acknowledged the very clear Mean Girls parallel:
