War Hero Tells Fox News He’s ‘Probably Taken the Lives of Men Who Deserved it Less’ Than Lindsay Clancy

War hero and Medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer made a shocking statement on Fox News about murder defendant Lindsay Clancy, saying that he has “probably taken the lives of men who deserved it less” than she did for killing her three children.

Clancy’s defense attorney Kevin Reddington has argued that Clancy was mentally ill, suffering from postpartum psychosis, when she strangled five-year-old Cora, three-year-old Dawson, and eight-month-old Callan. At issue is whether Clancy was criminally culpable for the deaths.

On Friday’s Outnumbered, Fox’s Bryan Llenas reported on Clancy’s current state of mind in the courtroom:

We’ve asked Kevin Reddington and not just me, but all the members of the press, how Lindsay is doing through all of this, and at one moment, Kevin Reddington pointed to his suit and he said, “Look at the mascara on my suit. She’s crying, she’s upset, she’s thinking about her children.” And outside of court here, that has been something that has caused kind of friction between many people who are here in support of her, but some others — fewer — who think that she is a murderer.

That report enraged Meyer.

“I just want to say, who cares how she’s feeling?” Meyer said. “Nobody cares. The reality is, I hope she is suffering a tenth of what her child was suffering as she stood behind her child with her band, with her workout band, and she choked and listened and felt her child squirm and fight against this — and worry about how this woman’s feeling?”

Meyer continued:

Nobody cares. Nobody cares, nor should we care how she’s feeling. I’m sure she is struggling. She should be, and then she didn’t just do it to one. She did it two more times. This is absolutely absurd and appalling that we are trying to find empathy over finding justice for these three innocent children who this woman brutally murdered. She knew what she was doing. You’re right, her frame of mind is not something that any sane or rational human being could ever, ever comprehend, and there’s no law, there’s no judge, there’s no jury, and theres no article that’s going to come out and fix this.

“She is nothing less than evil,” Meyer added. “I’ll say this: I’ve probably taken the lives of men who deserved it less than this woman.”
