Things are heating up in MAGA world, and President Donald Trump is reportedly now getting involved in what’s being described as the “ultimate MAGA blood feud” over millions in Kennedy Center donations.

Axios’ Marc Caputo reported, citing four senior administration officials familiar with the situation and three “insiders” briefed on the meeting, that Alina Habba, Trump’s former attorney, dropped explosive allegations to the president on Monday.

Habba reportedly told the president that Richard Grenell, an advisor to the president, failed to deposit a nearly $6 million Kennedy Center donation from her husband, Turhan Mildon, a Turkish national with business interests in Venezuela.

Grenell dismissed the accusations as a “lie,” but the White House is launching a probe into the allegations.

“Absurd. I’ve never asked for one cent to be sent somewhere else pretending it was for the Kennedy Center, and I’ve never received any payment from him at all. Make him give proof to what he is saying, not make these absurd allegations,” the Trump special envoy reportedly said.

“POTUS doesn’t want to deal with this. Of course, he’s concerned. But if there is missing money, this is a big, big problem,” one senior administration official said.

Another theorized it may simply be a “misunderstanding,” but things appear to be tense, according to other observers.

“This is the ultimate MAGA blood feud,” one insider with knowledge of the friction said.

“Nobody wants to get in the middle of Alina Habba and Ric Grenell going to war,” an official added on that front.

Caputo noted that Grenell did not attend Habba’s wedding last month, despite being friends with her and her husband.

According to the report, Grenell had convinced Mildon to include the $5.6 million donation as part of a larger $17 million deal with a U.S. company in 2025. Habba had apparently initially claimed that the $17 million was the total donation, though she was corrected on that point and clarified that it was nearly $6 million. Habba had discovered the donation allegedly was never deposited after reporting on her husband’s business interests in Venezuela.

“The White House counsel has asked for documents and proof. None has come so far,” a White House official said, but Habba reportedly plans on providing all the receipts she and her husband have to prove their claims.

Habba was reportedly outraged after learning her husband did not directly give the money to the Kennedy Center. Their records show nothing about the donation and actually show he owes $270,000 that he apparently pledged.

“There was nothing about $6 million,” Lisa Dale, who handles finances at the Kennedy Center, said. “I would have heard about that.”
