There’s one thing President Donald Trump apparently likes about CNN.

Days after Harry Enten, the network’s chief data analyst, shared a poll showing Trump’s enduring popularity among Republicans, Trump took to Truth Social to laud the stats guru:

CNN is in a DEATH SPIRAL, and so is MSNOW, the new name for MSDNC — Literally, nobody is watching either Network! The best person on CNN is Pollster Harry Enten, because he was willing to show that Donald J. Trump is six times more popular than Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, or any other President — He’s got Credibility (Don’t fire him!). CNN can be turned around with new Leadership and Anchors (MSNOW cannot!), because a Great Brand can never truly be destroyed! President DONALD J. TRUMP

The positive early Saturday post came two days after Trump shared a ranking of American presidents — of course, listing himself on top of the heap.

Trump’s ranking, which he posted to Truth Social Thursday, had him listed in a category all by himself, mnarked: “The Greatest.”

The list put Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, Thomas Jefferson, and Andrew Jackson, as merely “Great.”

The list inexplicably omitted Ronald Reagan, a move Trump tried to fix the next day, when the president shared a new graphic that places the 40th president with himself, Washington, Lincoln, and Jefferson as the “five who built America.”

Enten, who shares numerous polls showing Trump’s troubles with voters and recent dismal approval ratings, had declared one recent survey a “reality check” on the president’s popularity.

“This is a reality check for you. That is, Donald Trump is still the sun on which the planets of the GOP revolve around. You could see it quite well here,” Enten told CNN’s John Berman.

He also highlighted Trump’s support for South Carolina’s Darline Graham, who recently won a primary race to fill her brother Lindsey Graham’s seat for a full term after the veteran senator’s unexpected July death.
