CNN commentator Scott Jennings had jokes for colleague Ashley Allison Thursday.

Jennings shared an AI-generated video of himself, Allison, and several CNN hosts and anchors dancing together on X, where he wrote, “At the risk of sending Ashley over the edge ๐Ÿ˜‚.”

The video was a gentle rib following Allison’s takedown of Sen. Marsha Blackburn’s (R-TN) own AI-generated video showing herself and Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN), Sen. Bill Hagerty (R-TN), state Sen. Ben Taylor (R-TN), and professional wrestler Kane dancing to Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us.”

“That’s cultural appropriation,” Allison said. “She probably has never heard the song before. Number three, keep Kendrick Lamar, keep rap out your mouth.”

She continued, “I think the real filth to some of the policies that Marsha Blackburn actually proposes to cut public education, but to continue to ruin the economy. This is pathetic. It’s like, just, she’s out of touch. Like stop retweeting stuff you don’t understand what you’re doing.”

Jennings cut in, “Don’t you want people to vote? It’s like encouraging people to vote.”

Allison shot him down. “Okay, but when Megan Thee Stallion got up on stage with Kamala Harris, you were like, how disrespectful is Democrats want to bring rappers out to get black people to vote, and now this is okay.”

Had Blackburn attended the Super Bowl during which Lamar performed the song, she added, “she’d be mortified.”

Blackburn’s video was shredded across the internet after its release Wednesday.

Jerri Green, her opponent in the state’s gubernatorial race, wrote on X, “When I say please stop using AI to support our campaign, this is what I mean…”

The social media account for The Tennessee Holler took things a step further and pointed out potential hypocrisy.

“This might be the most embarrassing post of all time. Guaranteed every one of these people complained about the @kendricklamar Super Bowl halftime show,” the outlet posted on X. “Shameless.”
