The FBI is “gaming the system” under President Donald Trump, MS NOW reporter Ken Dilanian wrote on X Tuesday.
Dilanian shared a post from FBI Director Kash Patel that touted the capture of Satinderjeet Singh — just over one hour after he was placed on the Most Wanted list.
“As MS Now has reported, FBI officials say the bureau has been placing people on the Most Wanted list whose capture is believed to be imminent,” Dilanian wrote. “In other words, these officials tell us—they are gaming the system. One fugitive was captured in Mexico an hour and 13 minutes after being placed on the list.”
Patel originally captioned his post, “NEW TOP TEN MOST WANTED FUGITIVE ADDED: This FBI has had historic success manhunting Ten Most Wanted fugitives – since the start of the Trump administration, we’ve captured TEN of the Top Ten Most Wanted, 2.5 times the number of TMW fugitives captured during the previous four years combined.”
He continued:
Now we’re adding another subject. TODAY’S SUBECT: SATINDERJEET SINGH, wanted for his alleged involvement in the Lawrence Bishnoi Organized Crime Group – allegedly engaged in a variety of violent acts in Southern California, and across the United States and Canada – including assassinations of political and religious figures, shootings, murders, kidnappings, extortions, assaults, and the trafficking of narcotics and weapons. Singh is based in the United States and is the alleged leader of the Group in North America. He is charged with Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Conspiracy; Conspiracy to Interfere and Attempted Interference with Commerce by Extortion; and Conspiracy to Distribute and Possess with Intent to Distribute Controlled Substances. The FBI is offering a reward of up to $1,000,000 for information leading to his arrest. If you have any information, 1-800-CALL-FBI or visit tips.fbi.gov. @FBILosAngeles
MS NOW previously reported that Patel’s FBI was engaging in stat padding in May.
