‘Let Them Eat Cake!’ Trump’s Social Media Guru Gets Smoked for Posting ‘Tone Deaf’ AI Clip of Trump Cronies Popping Bubbly While Riding a Luggage Cart

A longtime key staffer of President Donald Trump’s is catching heat over an AI video he posted of himself and his administration pals living it up.
Late Saturday, White House Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino posted a doctored clip to numerous social media platforms which showed him riding a luggage cart and popping champagne along with several cronies — including Eric Trump.
In a caption to Instagram, Scavino said he posted the parody clip in response to some images from this week’s lavish state dinner for Xi Jinping, the head of the Chinese Communist Party.
“This is not an intended for the Dems heads to explode (sic)—Being some of the post State Dinner party has gotten out, I felt inclined to share mine as well, in complete transparency, with the American People,” Scavino wrote. “GOD BLESS THE USA!!!”
But the clip seemed to land with a thud among many observers on both sides.
“One of my friends couldn’t afford air conditioner this summer,” Meghan McCain posted to X.
Carrie Prejean Boller — who was dumped from Trump’s White House Religious Liberty Commission for her rhetoric about Jews — sounded off about the clip.
“You really have no shame, do you?” She wrote on X. “Many Americans can’t afford groceries, gas or their mortgage payment, and you post a tone deaf AI video of you and your buddies partying at the People’s House. MAGA is dead.”
And other observers were furious as well.
