Karoline Leavitt Confronted About Trump Sharing a Post Saying the GOP is ‘F*cking Up’: Is He ‘Washing His Hands’ of Them?

During a gaggle outside the White House on her last day as press secretary, Karoline Leavitt defended President Donald Trump ‘s commitment to promoting Republicans, despite his social media post about them “f*cking up” their midterm chances.

“Yesterday, the president, he amplified a post in social media that said, ‘I don’t think the GOP currently grasp how badly they are ‘effing up’ right now,” a reporter said.

The reporter referred to Trump’s Truth Social repost of MAGA influencer Matt Van Swol, who wrote about Americans being “pissed off” at Republicans because they are not seeing major reforms they were promised.

“He has previously said that some voters don’t seem to like Republicans, but they do still like him,” the reporter said. “But at this point, is the President washing his hands of Republicans losing control in November?”

“The President is wholeheartedly committed to helping Republicans across the board retain the majority,” Leavitt responded. “And I think voters across the country will be presented with a contrast between everything this President and Republicans have done.”

Leavitt listed off, “Largest middle class tax cuts in history, no tax on tips, overtime, Social Security for our seniors,” before continuing:

Democrats in this town want to talk a lot about affordability, but they voted against the largest tax cuts in American history. They voted against putting more money in people’s pockets. So, you know, President’s going to Texas tonight, he’ll engage in a fundraiser to keep loading up Republicans’ coffers. There’s obviously a huge cash advantage on the President’s side. And he’ll continue to go across the country, meet with everyday Americans, and push his message until the very last day.  President Trump, there’s no harder worker or greater fighter in politics than him. So you’ll continue to see him stay out there.
