JUST IN: DA Asks For Gag Order Against Lindsay Clancy’s Lawyer For Public Comments on Holdout Juror

District Attorney Timothy Cruz filed a motion for a gag order against Lindsay Clancy’s defense lawyer Kevin Reddington and accused him of essentially doxxing the lone holdout juror who refused to acquit his client.

Fox News Correspondent Nate Foy explained on The Faulkner Focus:

Meanwhile arguments about Reddington’s motion for an investigation into the hold-out juror, will be heard on November 2nd. On that date the judge will also hear arguments about a gag order motion filed by the DA’s office. Prosecutors criticized Reddington for making public comments about the hold-out juror. On his way into court Reddington refused to answer our questions, which if you remember, Harris, is quite different than how it went every single day during the actual trial. Also on that November 2nd date we are expecting to hear arguments about another motion filed by the defense and that motion is asking for a dismissal on the grounds of d0uble jeopardy.

Clancy returned to court Tuesday nearly three weeks after Judge William Sullivan declared a mistrial in the criminal case against her. Clancy admitted to strangling her three children, Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months, in January 2023 but has argued she cannot held criminally responsible for their deaths.

Also on Tuesday, Reddington called out President Donald Trump for comments he made about Clancy. On Sept. 4, Trump said, “Look, she did a horrible, horrible thing. Can’t be worse. But you’ll find out what the price to pay is. There’ll be a price. It’s going to be mental institution or jail or something.”

Reddington explained, “Now, many, many laypeople have difficulty understanding the concept of the bifurcation and say, ‘Well, you know, she admitted that she did it, so she’s guilty. And therefore she’s just guilty’. And then they go off on a tangent about all of these horrific allegations, you know, that she’s a demon and she’s possessed and she should be executed, and this is coming from politicians, you know, from President Trump all the way down.”
