Fox Business Host Straight Up Calls AOC Remark ‘Dumb’ In Wild Moment: ‘Just Ignorant’
If you want a great example of why the Democratic Party is going to hell in a hand basket, Fox Business host David Asman said all you need to do is listen to what Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) spews out about the economy.
Asman went off on the Dems for cozying up to socialist candidates during the Tuesday episode of Kudlow. He said Karl Marx’s ideology has never worked dating back to the 19th Century, and it won’t start working in the 21st Century, either, no matter how much democratic socialists hope it will.
He then pivoted to AOC, saying she has made “dumb comments” that prove the Dems are oblivious when it comes to anything business-related. It’s a problem that has made it easy for socialists to infiltrate the party, he argued. Asman then played a clip from October 2025 of AOC to drive home his point.
“Rivers in rural areas were on fire because of corporations poisoning the people who lived in those areas,” Ocasio-Cortez said. “Poor, middle-class communities getting poisoned and dumped on by corporations like Deloitte and 3M, pouring chemicals into these places.”
Asman said she royally whiffed with her gripe.
“Deloitte is an economic firm! They have never made, nor have they ever had plans to make chemicals that they can pour anywhere,” Asman said. “She’s just ignorant! She’s dumb to say things like that.”
Meanwhile, the AOC clip made Asman’s guests, National Review editor-in-chief Rich Lowry and New York Post reporter Miranda Devine, crack up.
Lowry jumped in and said he hated to say it, but he expected NY politicians to make bozo comments on anything tied to business. But he said it concerns him that Dems like Abdul El-Sayed (D-MI) could win his Senate race — and add to the economic illiteracy in Congress.
Watch above.
