MAGA Radio Host Sid Rosenberg Rips JD Vance’s Speech to Jewish Republicans: ‘Had a Chance to Hammer’ Megyn and Tucker — But Didn’t

Conservative radio’s Sid Rosenberg called out Vice President JD Vance for not making a “strong enough” case for the USA-Israel alliance during a Monday speech to Jewish Republican voters — right after the pro-Trump host urged the same crowd to “give Vance a chance.”

The host of Sid and Friends in the Morning on WABC 77 in New York City criticized Vance for his remarks at the Republican Jewish Coalition summit in Las Vegas, saying he went too easy on Israel bashers like Tucker Carlson, and didn’t go far enough when it came to praising the country’s strong ties to America.

“My honest assessment of Vice President JD Vance? He was not strong enough on Israel,” Rosenberg posted on X. “In fact, he referred to Israel as ONE of our best allies. One of? He had a chance to hammer Tucker Carlson and Megyn Kelly but instead spent all his time defending Joe Rogan over Nick Fuentes.”

Rosenberg continued, “He also blamed immigration for a lot of the antisemitism in our country today. Silly. Look, he’s still better than any Democrat candidate but I don’t think he wowed the STRONG Jews in the room tonight.”

His post referred to the following answer from Vance when asked about the “Israeli-US relationship”:

Well, certainly it’s extremely important to America’s national security. It’s obviously, you know, I I would say one of our most important alliances in the world and certainly our most important regional alliance. Here Here’s what I would say, and I think this is important because, you know, you guys know, obviously, a big part of my job is to support the policies of the administration. I think, obviously, I’m biased, but I think we’re doing an amazing job.

As for Rosenberg’s mention of Carlson and Kelly, both have ripped Israel a number of times this year.

To point to one example for each, Carlson claimed President Donald Trump was a “weak” man who was strong-armed by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in launching the Iran War. Kelly made similar remarks soon after the war began.

She said it “feels very to me like it is clearly Israel’s war,” adding that the administration was prodded into it by pundits like Ben Shapiro and Mark Levin.

While Rosenberg did not love Vance’s performance at the event, many others apparently did. The Washington Post reported Vance got a “standing ovation” from the crowd following his remarks, even after he was booed earlier in the day when his relationship with Carlson was mentioned.

In another X post, Rosenberg added that the vice president was not his “first choice” to succeed Trump; he pointed to his friend Marco Rubio and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) as two guys who could be better GOP options in 2028.

But he said when push comes to shove, he is still siding with Vance over any Democrat.

“My position is I will vote for JD over ANY Democrat he might face in 2028,” Rosenberg said. “I do not apologize for that!”
