Sean “Diddy” Combs was rushed out of his prison cell in the middle of the night due to a “medical emergency,” TMZ reported on Monday.

The musical mogul-turned-jailbird needed to get treatment after sustaining a head injury, according to the report. Combs was put in an ambulance around 1:00 a.m. ET on Saturday, but the injury was “not life-threatening,” according to a TMZ source, and the ex-producer and rapper was back at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey by sunrise.

TMZ added it was “unclear” how Combs hurt his head. Page Six reported “insiders said Combs was conscious and speaking” when he returned to the low-security federal prison.

“We are aware of the reports concerning Sean Combs and are working to confirm the circumstances,” a Combs rep told Page Six.

His hospital trip comes a few weeks after NBC News reported Combs is enjoying a pampered lifestyle while behind bars, which includes “Chinese-style” massages from men, booze, surfing Instagram, and scrolling through nude pictures from an old girlfriend.

The report, citing four men who have spent time in Diddy’s unit, as well as prison footage, said he is spending thousands of bucks a month to have men cook and clean for him; money has also reportedly been sent to the commissary accounts of men doing favors and jobs for him by the rapper’s associates.

“After a while, I got tired of cooking,” one convict told NBC. “He started going to the Jamaicans.”

Another said, “Pretty much the day he arrived, the party started.”

Combs has been in custody since September 2024 and was convicted the following year of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution; Combs was acquitted of more serious sex trafficking and racketeering charges at trial. Combs was hit with a $500,00 fine and sentenced to 50 months in prison in October 2025. He is scheduled to be freed from the clink in March 2028.
