Adam Carolla Accuses ‘Race Hustler’ Colin Kaepernick of Growing a ’26 Foot Afro’ to Seem More Black

He’s conning people with his haircut.

Adam Carolla accused Colin Kaepernick of overcompensating for growing up with two White, adoptive parents by sporting a “26 foot afro” to appear more Black than he really is.

The veteran podcaster went on a searing rant against Kaepernick — whom he branded a “race hustler and f*ckin’ idiot” — during the Monday episode of his podcast, claiming the ex-San Francisco 49ers quarterback has grown his hair out to turbocharge his social justice crusade. And the best way to do that is by not looking like a White dude, he said.

“You don’t present as Black! The reason you have a 26 foot Afro now is you’re trying to present as Black,” Carolla fumed. “You don’t present as Black! It drives me nuts.”

Carolla said it all seems so phony, especially when you look at pictures of Kaepernick when he was in high school and college.

“He looked like a Syrian cab driver. He does not look like a Black guy,” Carolla said, while his show flashed a picture of a young Kaepernick on the screen.

Carolla added that he would have guessed Kaepernick was Mexican, Armenian, or even Jewish first.

“It’d take me a long time to get to Black,” he said.

He then claimed Kaepernick is pulling the same cheap stunt that biracial politicians like ex-President Barack Obama and former Vice President Kamala Harris make: they lean into their Black heritage, while downplaying the rest of their family.

“All I’m saying is, ‘What about momma?’ I thought we were empowering women here. Why is she getting f*cked?” Carolla quipped. “Kamala Harris did the same thing [as Obama and Kaepernick]. Kamala Harris got a black dad, got an Indian mom; Black dad abandoned, Indian mom raises her, and she identifies as what? Not the person who raised her!”

Carolla slammed Kaepernick as the ex-QB has been making the media rounds lately, reflecting on the 10 year anniversary of his decision to kneel for the National Anthem.

Kaepernick argued at the the time that he was protesting the nation’s racist oppression of Black citizens and police brutality — two issues which made him disgusted with the American flag, he said.

The 38-year-old told The Ringer last week that in hindsight, he was proud of his protest but he was not fully “at peace” with it. Why? Because the police haven’t been defunded from coast-to-coast.

Carolla added it made no sense how biracial critics of the U.S. like Kaepernick can believe “being Black is a death sentence in this country” — but then do everything they can to come across as not-White.

“Why are you bending yourself into pretzels being Black, if that’s the one we don’t like?” he asked.
